 These kingfish were caught in 40-45 feet of water Southeast out of our home port in Sebastian, Florida. We trolled pogie (Menhaden) strips on a downrigger. The water was almost dead calm and there was no breeze that day. What a hot one! These fish were all caught in the morning on a half day trip. The largest King Mackeral took over 20 minutes bring into the boat and was very close to spooling our Shimano TLD 25. |
